Come into deliverance with the authority and power of Jesus Christ. Do not put up with the nonsense that is in the lives of people around you. When hell comes to your house you go from praying to fighting. In the name of Jesus Christ bind and break the power of the enemy and command him to leave. You get free and then you can cast the spirits out of your children. Make no mistake, the devil is out to kill you, or at least the gift of God in you. Satan will sorely distract you when he moves into the children. Distractions are his main strategy today. Stay focused on the Word of God and it will come out of you automatically. Jesus has overcome the world so we do not need to be afraid or troubled. In Him we overcome, conquer, subdue, prevail and are victorious. We must be ‘violent’ and take the Kingdom by force. That means to put on the pressure and be violently active, energetic and forceful. We are to go after it and not stop until we get it. What are we waiting for? God told us to do it. Preach, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils.’ As He is, so are we in this world. Activate the mind of Christ. We must begin to embrace who we are in Christ. Deliverance follows this teaching.

God has given us tools to be able to live this life without a lot of “unnecessary stuff” happening to us. Carla first lays a premise for those who really don’t know who they are in Christ, because without knowing who you are, these tools aren’t going to work for you. If you are not settled on who you are in Christ, you’re only left with fear, doubt, unbelief, intimidation and eventually, you are a defeated ineffective Christian. The first tool God has given us is dominion. We can avoid a lot of tragedies if we would just use what God has given us. This, and many other tools are shared to help us be the overcomer God has called us to be. Ministry concludes this message.

13LHCD7-3Y – Carla Butaud – POWER OF SPOKEN WORDS
(FOR CHILDREN) This was a youth meeting during the summer family camp meeting. For the first 10 minutes before Carla spoke, we wanted Rebeccia English to share with the young people about how she was deceived by a well-meaning friend and allowed herself to be covered with tattoos. The relationship with Jesus she had cherished, began to fade away afterwards. So coming back to Jesus she received prayer here at a previous camp meeting and felt the demons leave. She concludes her testimony by warning the children and youth to never get a tattoo, because they have no idea what serious damage is being done to them in their souls. Carla then calls the children and youth to repent of evil, hurtful and hateful words they have spoken. She encourages them to ask the Father in the name of Jesus to forgive them for every time they have agreed with the devil by sinning with their tongues. She teaches them how to bind the lying spirit and the spirit of perversity. The children need to remember these words when the devil comes so they will quickly say, “No! You shut up and go in the name of Jesus!” That’s where the power of God is. We can command iniquity, words of death and the power of the enemy to come out. Break every word spoken curse against yourself and others. Angels can knock down every evil word curse ever spoken so that it will not come to pass. Loose the blessings of God to be in your mouth and on your tongue so that the words that you speak will bless people and not curse them. We pray this seed will drop way down into the young peoples hearts, take root and bear fruit in their lives.

13LHCD7-3 – Carla Butaud – THE TWO PATHS OF LIFE
God’s plans for us are good, the kind we hope for and long for. The Word of God helps us find God’s path for us. Two paths are before us – the path of God and the path of satan. Jesus comes that we have an abundant life. The devil comes for one purpose, to destroy us. God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We’ll have a wimpy spirit man if we don’t read the Bible. The world wants to pull our children away from the Word of God and righteousness. Parents need to read the Bible to their children right in their homes every day. We need to feed our Spirit Man just like we need to feed our bodies. Otherwise we will have nothing but destruction and trouble in our life. Children have one commandment or rule. “Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right, that life may be well with you and you may live long upon the earth.” But satan wants us to be rebellious and foolish and wicked. It is a form of worship of satan to do the things he wants us to do. He wants you to think bad things are really cool. Be wise and choose to worship God with obedience to His Word.

13LHCD7-6 – Carla Butaud – JUDGING
Wisdom is to take knowledge and apply it. Judgment means “to distinguish, to decide, to condemn, punish, damn, go into law with, call into question.” Even a thought can be a judgment. This is a spiritual law – judge and you will be judged. It is like writing a purchase order. Watch out for self-righteousness, which is a Pharisee spirit, a religious spirit. That spirit sees itself as sinless. That is what makes it so horrible. In this Christian walk we will be wrongly judged by people we thought were our friends, family members, even from Christian brothers and sisters. They will speak evil judgments against us. Learn to ignore the accusations of the enemy. Jesus told us offenses must come. Stop being shocked and appalled when it happens. They mocked Jesus, chose a murderer over Him, and killed him. We will have things like that done against us. Like Jesus, we must say, “Father, forgive them.” Let that be our heart. Scripture teaches us to have our behavior honest before men in the world, that with well doing we may put to silence foolish men. We are to refrain from evil and seek peace. If a man endure wrong and suffer for Christ, it is well. If we suffer for righteousness sake, happy are we. (Excellent Message).

Carla begins by sharing about the healing of an autistic child who could not talk, hear, learn or communicate. God wants His people healed. He carried our sorrows and bore our grief and became the curse for us. They tore Jesus up completely and He did that for us. With His stripes we are healed…made well, healthy, mended, cured, repaired thoroughly, made whole, free from defect or damage, intact, having all it’s parts. Carla sums it up with a little word to y’all from Him. “My Child, when I shed My blood on the cross of Calvary, I took upon Myself the payment for sin that otherwise would have been required of you. I suffered the shame condemnation, damnation and punishment for your sin so you wouldn’t have to. You are forgiven. At the same time I took upon Myself the suffering of every sickness, disease and affliction known to mankind and destroyed its power over you. You are healed. I also suffered all forms of bondage and the torment that goes along with it so that you could enjoy complete rest and freedom. You are delivered. I did all this because of My great love for you. I pray you will receive it all with joy. Jesus Christ of Nazareth”. God wants to move us from where we stand asking for healing, over to the place where we simply receive it.

Matthew 10:16: Jesus sends His sheep out into the midst of ravening wolves. If your heart’s desire is to truly serve God, you will be prey for wolves in sheep’s clothing who are deceitful, eager to obtain, sly, greedy of gain, expert at performing things secretly, usually implying some degree of meanness. Those wolves know the true sheep. They attack with wounds and embarrassments. In this way we share in His suffering. If you want to serve God, you will be met with opposition, competition, jealousy, envy, hatred, and presumption. Carla gives definitions and examples to help us understand how these evil spirits operate. In the Scriptures we learn how the spirit of jealousy operated against Joseph, Daniel, and David. When the spirits of jealousy and its cohorts manifest against you, just know what they are and go on. What to do with those who bring these offenses and hurts? Love, love, love them. The “fire” will not have power over you. Jesus is in the fire with us. Continue to stand, serve and love after you have suffered a while. If we do not have charity, all our works are in vain. God will be glorified if we have the correct response to the spirit of jealousy. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

13LHCD11-4 – Carla Butaud – REST
God rested on the 7th day. He blessed it and sanctified it. God wants us to rest our body on the Sabbath Day. Our body is God’s temple and it is our responsibility to take care of it for Him. God has instructed us to rest, repose, desist from exertion, take a break from all secular labor and employment. Keep the day holy and consecrate it to His service and worship. The Christian church observes the first day of the week as the Sabbath in commemoration of the resurrection of Christ. It is intended to be an intermission from pain and sorrow, a holy day. Holy means a sacred place or thing. Our rest should be sacred to us, a consecrated, dedicated thing, hallowed as in “most holy”, a sanctuary. Many illnesses are rooted in lack of rest so we need to learn how to be refreshed or we will bring about a slow, gradual diminishing of our life. Resist being driven and enslaved by the demands of modern life. God has established the Sabbath rest as a perpetual covenant…it never ends. It is meant to be a state free from commotion and noise, a quiet repose, a state of reconciliation to God. It is possible to live continuously in a place of quiet, permanent habitation in His presence. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

13LHCD11-6 – Carla Butaud – THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING IN THE HOME
This message is geared toward family, but especially men…husbands. In Num. 11 Sam. 9, we see David searching for someone of the house of Saul. He finds that Jonathan has a son in Lodebar who is crippled in his feet. David sent for Mephibosheth, welcomed him, restoring all that had been taken from him. Mephibosheth questioned the goodness of King David, calling himself a dead dog. Sometimes we allow our inheritance or our position to be taken from us, seeing ourselves as unworthy or incapable, etc. Because Mephibosheth didn’t take his place, someone else took it from him – those who were supposed to be his servants. Lodebar was where Mephibosheth had dwelt. The meaning of Lodebar was pastureless. A pasture provides feeding, sustenance and life….no flock = no provision. He was the grandson of the king Saul and was the heir but he had allowed all to be taken from him. Then we switch this scenario over to the family because many men see themselves as Mephibosheth saw himself. Their position has been taken away. Most men are not aware of their place in the family, in the church, nor their worth in God’s eyes. God ordained family even before He ordained the church. Eph. 5:23, talks about the husband being the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church. So, the husband is the savior of the family, like Jesus is the head and Savior of the church. Carla goes on to teach about the responsibilities and the results of order in the family. Deliverance prayer follows.

13LHCD11-8 – Carla Butaud – BREAKING OF GENESIS CURSES
The word, Genesis, means to be born, origin, coming into being. This message is the story of Lazarus. John 11 tells us that Lazarus has been dead for four days. Jesus came to the tomb and called out, “Lazarus, come forth.” He came out but was still bound in grave clothes. At that point, Jesus said, “Loose him and let him go.” This is a picture of deliverance…Before we have an encounter with Jesus, we’re dead. Then after we’re saved, we’re alive but still have our grave clothes on. So our Christian lives are begun in bondage. Without being loosed from the grave clothes, Lazarus couldn’t walk out into his new life and neither can we. We will learn in this teaching that we opened no doors, gave no entrance to the curses in our life. They came with our origin…we were born with them…our ‘genesis.’ At the end of this teaching, these curses will be broken. The first one we learn about is the ‘sin and death.’ We didn’t become sinners…we were born in sin. We sin because we were made sinners. Rom. 5:12 “Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men. So we were not only born sinners; death was also part of the package. David had a revelation of this as is stated in Ps. 51:5 “Behold I was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me.” The good news is in Gal. 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.” Carla goes on to give a detailed explanation how, just as we were shapen in iniquity, we have also been set free from all that the genesis curse entails. 13LHCD12-3 – Carla Butaud – BETRAYAL
Carla recounts the story in 2 Samuel 13 about Tamar and her unfortunate, devastating experience with her half-brother Ammon. Tamar was betrayed and made desolate. Recently Carla has been asking God why so many beautiful, available young Christian men and women of today are living lonely and desolate lives. Could it be that the sins of the fathers are being visited upon these sons and daughters? Generationally inherited effects of sin come down our blood line. These demons are known as familiar spirits. That means we will have manifestations in our lives as though we had committed those sins. We become desolate…the hated, the blamed, betrayed, shamed and shunned. We are taken captive by demons…swallowed up, made prisoners of war. A stupor comes upon a child who has been severely traumatized and betrayed by those they trusted to provide for and protect them. They fail to develop emotionally, often resulting in arrested development, multiple personality disorder, and repeated failures in relationships. You will be astonished as Carla describes many consequences in the spirit realm assigned to a person who has been betrayed. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

Carla begins her teaching out of the book of Philemon. Yes, people can change, but if you are in conflict with someone it is possible that you prevent them from changing by means of the damaging, descriptive words you continue to say about them. Because of condemning words, you will keep them locked into those unfavorable characteristics. When you have a conflict with a person, begin to pray and give them permission to allow God to change them. Scripture teaches that if it be possible, live peaceably with all men. It is not glorifying to God for conflict to continue, so we have to learn how to replace enmity with the love of God. Learn the difference between a peacemaker and a peacekeeper. A peacemaker will work to restore and reconcile peaceably. A peacekeeper will do anything or nothing just to keep the peace. Conflict is contention, strife, competition, striving to oppose or overcome, a struggling in the mind, distress, anxiety. It is not good to pretend that nothing is the matter, because in that way you become a hypocrite. Carla tells a delightful story about her experience with resolving a conflict with a sister in the Lord. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

13LHCD12-8 – Carla Butaud – FAMILIAR SPIRITS
Webster Dictionary defines a familiar spirit as an intimate associate, companion, a spirit held to attend, serve or guard a person, characteristic of a family. We have familiar spirits that have been handed down our family line for generations. Fortunetellers, psychics and mediums can “wow” you with what they “know” because their familiar spirits communicate with your familiar spirits. In Deuteronomy 18:9 God gives us a clear command to have nothing to do with any form of witchcraft. Understand that evil spirits are attached to every book we read and movie or TV show we watch. Have we involved ourselves with something that has a death curse on it? Is that why we cannot receive healing? Galatians 5:16 … “Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulation, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling…they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.” Carla believes that all sickness is from the devil. In these days, these kinds of powers are going to intensify. Repent of your sins and forgive the sins of your forefathers. Take away the demons’ legal rights to afflict you. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LCCD2-3 – Carla Butaud
ROOTING OUT, PULLING DOWN, DESTROYING & THROWING DOWN
Are you being tormented? Is there someone you need to forgive in the way that the Lord has forgiven you so you will not be put into a prison and be handed over to the tormenters? With forgiveness comes new life in Christ Jesus. Then we can get free and be healed as we rid ourselves of generational inherited curses, spirits and infirmities. Speak destruction to every plan of satan for your life and for your children’s lives. Bind and break the curse of the first born and speak a blessing instead of a curse. Familiar spirits which follow down the blood line must be commanded to go. Give leave to the unholy angels which were assigned to us at birth by satan. The anti-christ spirit can be inherited through initiation rites, oaths, lodges, religions, fraternities, covenants, satanic dedications … things in our blood line that are like grave clothes on us … deception, religious spirits, self-righteousness. The bastard and orphan curses hinder you and your family from receiving God’s blessings for ten generations. Throw down the spirit of death, a ruler spirit, which causes aging, degenerative diseases and all infirmities. Repent of sins unto death and live in Jesus’ name. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LCCD2-5 – Carla Butaud – ORDER, POSITION AND AUTHORITY
The word ‘order’ means to arrange in an orderly manner, assign or dispose to a certain position, appoint, ordain, set … an established mode of proceeding. ‘Position’ means state of being placed or situated. ‘Authority’ is the legal right to command, as the authority of a prince over subjects, and of parents over children. It means power, rule, to have or wield full privilege over, to exercise authority, preeminence, superiority in rank or character, authority and excellency. When we submit to God’s order, it is wonderful. Ephesians 5: 23. “The husband is head of the wife … and he is the savior of the body.” The word ‘savior’ in this text means the husband has the same priestly anointing in the home that Christ has over the church. For women to be honored as the weaker vessel, they are to yield without murmuring, and reverence their husband with affection. Carla lists the many combinations of disorderly family relationships in these modern times. Abnormal mind sets used to be ostracized but now are considered alternative lifestyles … calling evil good. If the family is healthy the church will be healthy. Let the older ones teach the younger ones about order, position and authority. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD4-1 – Carla Butaud – BREAKING THE CURSE OF DEATH
When we get saved, we are all aware that the “sin issue” is dealt with through the blood of Jesus, but so is the “death issue”. As the Word of God comes forth in this teaching, the power of God is present and contains the power to heal as you hear it, so when you feel the quickening of the spirit, receive your healing. Scripture teaches that we are all born with a curse of sin and death on our lives. “Death” is a ruler spirit. It is the ruler spirit over all infirmity, sickness, diseases, afflictions and aging. When Jesus shed every drop of His blood, we came into position to be free from the curse of sin and death if we live in obedience to God. Romans 8 encourages us that if we do not walk after the flesh but after the spirit we are free from the law of sin and death. Start taking authority over the curse and spirit of death…daily. Appropriate what Christ has done. When you belong to God, He is able to make Kingdom Principles manifest in your life now. Deliverance follows this teaching and the curse of death is broken.

14LHCD4-3 – Carla Butaud – ORDER, POSITION AND AUTHORITY
God set up order in the earth, in the family and in the church. In the beginning the earth was an indistinguishable ruin, in confusion and chaos, without form and void. In any earthly kingdom they understand order. There are certain positions there, and everybody knows what their position is and the authority that goes with that position. They stay in that order. When a church or family is out of order, there is confusion and no sense of peace. In Ephesians God gives instructions for order in the home. Christ is the head of the man and the man is to be the head and savior of his home, just as Jesus Christ is the Head and Savior of His Church and laid down His life for it. As a wife settles into her position and submits to her husband’s authority she can enjoy her husband’s protection and provision. In that way she knows she is honored and cherished by him. Parents are then in position to take authority over their children. Peace will reign. Remember that the world and even the angels are watching us. Pray the Lord will guide us in our determination to employ His principles.

Carla Butaud – THE CURSE OF THE BASTARD & THE SPIRIT OF ABORTION
Both the curses of the bastard and abortion are rooted in the spirit of rejection. These curses perpetually repeat themselves in families and open doors for evil spirits to enter us. In the Hebrew language, the word ‘bastard’ means ‘to alienate’. You do not have to be illegitimately conceived for this curse to be upon you. It is enough if you were unwanted. You feel that you are not important, like an outcast, isolated, and unworthy to be loved or have nice things. Regarding the abortion spirit, a hard-heartedness develops, murderous rage, a fear of abandonment, nightmares, a person wishes they had never been born and they wish they were dead. A Jekyll and Hyde personality develops. Your hopes and dreams end abruptly when a spirit of abortion is working in your life. Our entire nation is cursed. The destruction done by these curses is so extensive that space does not permit the telling. Prayers of repentance, deliverance and healing follow this teaching as well as the Father’s Blessing.

14LHCD5-1 – Carla Butaud – DECEPTION – PART 1
Jesus warned us…”Take heed that no man deceive you. Many will come and say they are anointed, but do not believe them. Demonic manifestations will imitate miracles. We will be hated of all nations for Jesus’ name’s sake. Many will be offended, false prophets (religious imposters) will arise and deceive even the elect with great signs and wonders, iniquity will abound, and the love of many will grow cold. He who endures until the end will be saved, but for the elect’s sake the days of terror will be shortened.” We must reject anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and His Word. In order to recognize a lie you have to know the Truth. If you know what is real, you will never settle for a counterfeit. If Jesus Christ is not central to a teaching, a church or a ministry, it is anti-Christ. When we partake of the Word we are actually partaking of Jesus Christ. Then we dwell in Him and He dwells in us. He that eateth this bread, the Word of God, shall live forever because the Bible is a supernatural, spiritual book, unlike any other. If you are in the Word regularly it will cause you to be able to discern truth from lies. A seducing spirit seeks to destroy a precious life. False reprobate prophets who have no conscience, frauds, will cunningly seduce believers by flattery, enticement, fair speech and appeals to the senses. That spirit of seduction will trap you so you have no way out. The enemy will also bring distractions into your life to change your focus away from the things of God. Be watchful, discreet, wary, vigilant, sober, and alert so you are not devoured and overcome by the schemes of satan. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching. (There is no DVD for this service.)

14LHCD5-10 – Carla Butaud – DECEPTION – PART 2
Mathew 24:11 “Many false prophets shall arrive and shall deceive many. “Christ” means ‘the anointed one, the Messiah’. False christs and false prophets shall deceive the very elect. It means a false anointing…a spurious prophet, a religious imposter, who will deceive with great signs and wonders. Scripture tells us how the evil one is adorned with precious jewels. These days at some church meetings it is reported that jewels, feathers and gold dust appear out of nowhere. Wisdom is being profaned and the sanctuary is being defiled by demonic manifestations. Look at the signs and wonders that Jesus did. Matthew 10:7 And as you go preach saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils.” He multiplied loaves and fishes. He calmed the storms. Sometimes false prophets, satan’s ministers, are able to do signs and wonders in the name of Jesus because Jesus honors His name, but He wants nothing to do with those deceivers. Beware of false prophets who are wolves in sheep clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Read Revelation13:11 and find out how God deals with false prophets. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching. 

14LHCD7-7 – Carla Butaud – SALVATION
Carla tells the young people how the Lord directed her to bring the message of salvation to them. She designed a large book to share the gospel using illustrations to depict these events in a clear and wonderful way: the Garden of Eden, Adam, Eve, the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the serpent, the first sin of rebellion, blame and shame, and eviction from the Garden of Eden. Since then every baby has been born with the stain of sin and is separated from God. Next God brought the law, kings and prophets, the promise of Our Redeemer and the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Because of His great love for us He came to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus was crucified and then was resurrected from the dead. So believe in His love for you, bow your knee to Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of your life. Repent of your sins and be cleansed, and by His stripes you are healed. Be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit and reconciled to the Father to enjoy everlasting life in Heaven, the Garden of Eden. We have entered into a new time…”Game On”… an increased level of warfare. These are extraordinary times and we are called to be extraordinary Christians. Something is changing in the spirit realm. Demonic entities are being released and they are beginning to have their affect on people. Faith is believing in and totally trusting in God. Add virtue which is valor and strength of mind in regard to danger, to that believing faith. The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to us and it is a realm within the earth realm. Jesus demonstrated all the Kingdom Principles and gave us the keys of binding and loosing. We know we are having increasing trouble and pressure because the devil’s job is to pulverize us. Our job is to take the Kingdom by violently active and energetic force. The devil is our enemy and we are at war and it is time to engage. We will destroy the works of the devil in the Name of Jesus Christ. Persevere. We are going to make it, and when we do, we are to strengthen the brethren. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching. 14LHCD8-6 – Carla Butaud – SINS UNTO DEATH
What is a sin unto death? Genesis 2:17 “Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or you will die.” We continue to have this dying process, a slow diminishing of life. Bind the spirit of death and loose the law of the spirit of life into your body. Get into your concordance and look up the scriptures relating to ‘death’ and you will find those sins unto death. There are many of them. Perhaps it is something your ancestors have done, or a sin of your own that is causing death to your life, relationships, opportunities, progress, and finances. Carla suggests that when you are praying for someone with an incurable disease, take them to these scriptures and help them repent of sins that have the death sentence upon them. Exodus 21:12 He that smiteth a man that he die, he shall surely be put to death. Exodus 21:17 Cursing your parents will bring a death sentence on you. Romans 6:23. The wages of sin is death. Matthew 7:1 With the same measure you judge, you will be judged. Hebrews 9:27 There is an appointed time to die but if you are foolish you can die before your time. Be on guard against hardness of heart against God’s commandments. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD8-10 – Carla Butaud – WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
God established the Kingdom of Heaven in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve lost all that, but Jesus Christ came to restore it to us. We think of Heaven as a place of the future, no more sorrow or pain. Recently the Lord opened up to Carla a new plateau of peace and well-being. She has learned that we can have Heaven, that place of no pain or sorrow, right here, right now. She shares with us about some mountains of difficulty and deep pits of sorrow in her personal life. She learned to live her life to please Jesus Christ our King, not everybody else. God is pouring out many blessings, but the enemy is funneling all of our blessings into his camp. The devil is laughing hysterically at all of us. But if you pay your tithes the Lord will rebuke the devourer for you. Also, make a list of what that bully has stolen, go to the enemy’s camp and demand your inheritance. We need to change our thinking, so activate the mind of Christ. When we discover “Whose” we are and “Who” is in us, it changes our world. Don’t wait for a near death depression to find out who you are in Christ. We are seated with Christ in Heavenly places and as He is so are we in this world. That is your true identity. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

Carla shares an astonishing story about what happened recently when she prayed with a woman for deliverance. She learned that when the time comes for us to stand against violent forces of evil, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and you are enough to defeat the darkness. Carla goes on to share how God is teaching her to deal with this fact: whenever we are tempted to sin, there is first a check in our spirit against it, then to do what we know we are not supposed to do, we have to harden our heart against God. We must quickly repent when we yield to temptation. The “grace message” coming into the church is leading many away from the truth of the Gospel and their hearts are turning to stone. The root word for stony means numbness … an inability to feel. It means to fortify and surround ones heart with a wall of stone to protect from wounds and hurts. A stony heart of unbelief makes you insensitive to the voice of God. Also, hardness of heart could come as a familiar spirit you inherited from your ancestors, from those who were not loyal to God. Break curses that have been passed down to you and your children and give those spirits leave so we can all enter into God’s rest. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD11-8 – Carla Butaud – KNOWING WHO YOU ARE
We, the body of Christ have not comprehended who we actually are. Know that the battles with evil that we fight are not with flesh and blood. We are wrestling in the spiritual realm. The day before you were born again, you had no absolutely no power. Ephesians 2:12 says that without Christ, we were aliens, strangers, having no hope and without God in this world. But now in Christ we were made near by His blood. The example was given of the president. Before he was sworn in, he had absolutely no power but after the swearing in, that all changed. So, we need to know who we are and the power and authority that is ours not only for ourselves but to teach others. If we’re not aware of the position we hold, we’re not likely to do our job very well. Jesus gave His followers things to do. Would He tell us to do things that we’d not been given power to do? In Matthew 10:6-8 He gives clear instruction for His disciples. He’s instructing them about the kingdom of God. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Then He said you give what you have freely received. Does that mean that we can and should be doing the same? Examples from the word show us. Deliverance prayer follows.

14LHCD12-2 – Carla Butaud – JESUS IS THE GIFT
Carla starts by telling us an amazing story about her recent close call with death in a violent car accident. It is a testimony about God’s promised protection. We are thanking God with her and her family, that although her car was totaled, she was not injured in any way. Hallelujah! She begins her teaching in John 4:3 about the woman of Samaria and the “gift of God”, Jesus Himself. A gift is a present, a sacrifice or an offering, given without compensation or obligation. Some people do not feel worthy to receive any gift. Jesus freely gives to us and we must be able to freely receive from Him…healing, deliverance, peace, joy, assurance, protection, health…everything that He is constantly pouring out to us. God the Father gave Jesus His Son to us. Jesus is the Gift of God. Come close to Jesus the Christ and be honest with Him. He already knows about your secret sins that are keeping you back from a deeper relationship with Him. Are you believing in Jesus because of your own encounter with Him or because of what other people say about Him? Do you know the Gift of God? Then go forth with signs following…heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out devils. Healing prayers follow this teaching.

John 11: 43 “Loose him and let him go.” When we get born again we come to new life, but we still have “grave clothes” attached to us, those sins of our forefathers and the curses from Genesis 2. These curses are 1) the curse of sin 2) and the curse of death. Psalm 51:5 We were all born under the curse of sin through Adam. We were all shaped in iniquity. Sin and the curses came upon us when we were born, and have been affecting our lives since our beginning. We did not open any door to give those curses entrance. We were born sinners, alienated and separated from God. The curse of death is the ruler spirit and strongman over every infirmity in our body, degenerative diseases, accidents, murders, suicide, and the gradual diminishing of our life force. The enemy is constantly trying to put fear of disease and death into our minds, and that fear will draw the very thing we fear to come upon us. Although we were made sinners through Adam, we were made righteous through the death of Jesus Christ. The Genesis curses can be broken off us. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

Luke 22:35, Jesus said, “If you don’t have a sword, sell your garment and buy one.” Carla believes He was saying we are entering into a time of spiritual warfare. Jesus was calling people into action then, and it is time for Christians to come into action now with faith. Faith is belief and total trust in God. Add to your faith, virtue, valor, voluntary obedience to truth. You will become people’s enemy because you will tell them the truth. Add to virtue knowledge, temperance, and to temperance, patience, and to patience, godliness. Temperance is self-control, the ability to withhold, sedateness, and restraint. Patience is cheerful and hopeful endurance or waiting and much, much more. Godliness is piety, holiness, belief in God and reverence for his character and laws. Holiness is purity or integrity of moral character, freedom from sin, sanctity. In this war we are going to need personal, fearless bravery in danger, undaunted courage in boldness. Our salvation should produce these attributes in us. God is looking for a holy people who know who they are in Christ and will take authority in His Name. We will take the Kingdom by violent force in this spiritual war. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.
