Carla shares various Scriptures to lay the ground work to expedite the deliverance during the conference. There are some things that can block one’s deliverance and generational curses are one of them. For those who don’t understand, a curse is a doorway that allows other spirits in. If you take care of the curse, then when you cast the spirits out, they can go. She shares the importance of understanding the name of Jesus and the power in that name when it comes to casting out demons. It is time to learn to do warfare in the spirit realm. You don’t have to be afraid. We don’t wrestle against flesh and blood – against that person that is giving you trouble – against what is going on in the church, community or nation – we wrestle against principalities and powers – demons! If it’s not flesh and blood we’re wrestling with, that means we must know how to defeat the enemy in the spirit realm. Husbands and wives have a unique authority over each other. (1 Cor. 7:4) Emphasis is put on the vital need to forgive. That is one of the biggest “deliverance blockers” we can have. Deliverance ministry concludes this message.

Geri McGhee – DYING TO SELF – THE SECRET OF THE POWER OF GOD
Paul said he died daily. Positionally for us, that took place at Calvary but we have to appropriate that death, moment by moment and die to self. Most of us live the opposite – we are slaves to our bodies. Paul said when we walk in the spirit we won’t fulfill the lusts of the flesh. How do walk in the Spirit? We stay dead! The only reason for us to die to the flesh is for the life of Jesus Christ to live in and through us. Self can no longer be our reason for existence. We must exist to please God. 2 Corinthians, chapter 4:10-11 helps put it into perspective. “Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.” Geri speaks about self-righteousness by telling the ladies about her “holy list”. Your cross is anything where your will crosses God’s will. Deliverance ministry concludes this message.

18LCCD2-3 – Jean Williams – DELIVERANCE FROM THE “ITES” SPIRIT
What are “ites”? They are distractions that attempt to hinder you from reaching the promises of God. They are evil spirits working through people who don’t want you to have the promise of all God wants to give you. They are dark forces working against us to keep us from the inheritance that is rightfully ours. But we are here to take it back from these enemies. The children of Israel often found themselves fighting against these nations and were affected by them until God cleared the way for them. God commanded these “ites” to be destroyed (Deut 20:17). We must never underestimate the power of the enemy. The reason satan doesn’t give up the fight against us is because he is convinced it all belongs to him. Jean goes into specific detail, breaking down the different modern day characteristics of the “ites”. You don’t suddenly become bitter. It’s a process. The Bible says not to let the sun go down on your anger. You give a foothold to the devil every time you go to bed mad, hurt, or upset. If you don’t deal with it that day, the next day it becomes an issue of not forgiving. If you allow it to fester, the result will eventually be bitterness. Much emphasis is put on forgiveness, what it means, how it works, why it can sometimes be so difficult. We all have history of going to bed angry, not forgiving and becoming bitter. To unravel much of that mess we need the Holy Spirit to bring to our attention the events and actions we need to repent of. This message helps that process. It also gives understanding for the listener, to get it right – starting today! Turn the battle at the gate – don’t go to bed before you settle the issue. Bitterness is a walk of death. It not only affects your spirit man but your physical body as well. It is poison! Many prayers, confessions, and eradication of the enemy take place in this service.

18LCCD2-5 – Jean Williams – BIBLICAL REASONS WHY GOD WON’T MOVE
Jean begins with a very personal example of facing disappointment concerning the custody of her grandson who was found on the street at 3am…in Chicago, IL. She and her husband, Kernaa, made several trips to Chicago only to hear a judge refuse them custody. They had fasted, prayed and cried unto the Lord and were just so sure they would be taking him home with them. So now how do we deal with that? They were doing the work of the Lord and living right. So why didn’t God do what they petitioned Him for? Then she began to understand … it wasn’t in God’s timing. She was reminded of how when her son was a child, he would ask for something and she would say “no”. It is the same for us, sometimes it is a timing issue. Ecclesiastes 3:1 in the Amplified Bible tells us that there is a time and purpose for every matter under heaven. Then Jean goes on to give us 12 reasons, backed by scriptures, why our prayers are not … or seem not to be answered. Examples … wrong motives, priorities, needing to forgive, etc. If you have any “whys” between God and yourself, this will be a good teaching for you.

One of the enemy’s job is to torment. He is a bully and he is very good at it. God showed Carla the process of how tormenting spirits work. It starts with a thought that comes from a lying spirit. And you don’t like the thought. Then you find yourself arguing with the thought. That causes a conflict in your brain. You think the thought is your’s, not realizing it’s the devil, a tormenting spirit. So this conflict produces fear which produces chemicals in your brain which has an effect over your whole body. It affects your blood pressure, heart rate, digestive system – everything in your body. And it produces a “feeling”. Now you’re starting to “feel” this way or that way. And we, as humans like to “share” our feelings. You start hearing things like “I just feel like” … blah, blah, blah. Satan has already projected thoughts towards you, now you have expressed the feelings with your mouth. There’s much more to be explained here and Carla does a much better job teaching it than we can summarize! Bottom line, she wants you to understand how these tormenting spirits work, so you don’t have to be victim to them. Deliverance prayers and ministry are included with this message.
