To worship shows honor and worth. It is based on reverential awe, and respect. What you worship you will serve. (Matthew 4:10) True worship of God is a lifestyle based on serving God for who He is and not what we can obtain from Him. A life of worshipful service is expressed in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit! Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). True worship proceeds out of the mouth at all times and places. It serves and glorifies God. This message is an excellent scriptural exhortation to seek God’s help to lead a worshipful lifestyle.

04LCCD2-5 – Alberta Landry – SACRIFICE OF PRAISE
Sister Landry continues to discuss worship and praise. She begins by defining praise as – to extol the glory of the Lord in love. This praise should be freely given and without being inhibited. She then teaches on each of the Hebrew words for praise with many Scriptural examples for each word. She outlines an 8 step program to enhance praise and discusses the various hindrances to praise. This message is an excellent exhortation to Scriptural praise. Deliverance comes to the high praisers. Psalms 149:5-9.

Luke 9:1 “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure disease.” A distinguishing difference between the Old Testament Prophets and the miracle ministry of Jesus is He cast out unclean or evil spirits. This comprised one third of His ministry and frequently accompanied healing. As a guide to present day ministry, Brother Landry examines the healing and deliverance ministry of Jesus.

Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. He then discussed how God promised Israel he would drive out 7 nations and send the hornets to destroy those who are left if Israel would follow His commands. He details the pitfalls of incomplete obedience and compares them, with the rewards of obedience. This message will bring blessings to all who hear and obey.

Brother Landry discusses the natural bastard and the spiritual bastard and shows the results of the curse of the bastard in the believer’s family and the church family. Jim Landry – THE SPIRITUAL CONSEQUENCES OF JUDGING YOUR PARENTS
Children who have had conflict with a parent over the parent’s lifestyle – drug use, alcohol, fornication, abuse of spouse, etc., will have similar problems in their lives or with their children’s lives if they do not break the curse. Frequently, these people had difficulty accepting authority in their lives, i.e. rebelling against authority figures at work, in the church and government. If they have mocked a parent then they can develop spiritual blindness and various eye disorders. (Prov 30:17). Divorce with its problems and divided loyalty can cause self-hatred, self-pity, fear, insecurity and many disorders. Renouncement prayers, breaking of curses and mass deliverance follow this teaching.

Rom 13:1-2 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” Brother Landry shows where there is no place for the independent “lone ranger” ministry. All should be in submission to an authority. He establishes by Scriptures, the examples of types of authority and shows how those who are not under proper authority come under judgment. This message will set you free.

Rom 13:1-2 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Landry reviews Isaiah 1:1-6 to show the results of rebellion against God – head is sick, heart faints, no soundness, wounds and bruises and putrifying sores. He then shows how rebellion against authority affects the church body and plagues Christians with illness and deception. The service closes with prayer for repentance and deliverance.

Jim Landry – SEVERE CONSEQUENCES OF JUDGING YOUR PARENTS
Deut. 5:16 “Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Bro. Landry reviews the results of not honoring your parents, which places you under a curse. (Deut 27:16) He reviews the common ways children dishonor their parents, i.e. not showing respect, judging parents for their sins, rebelling against parents discipline, mocking parents to others, exposing parents sins and belittling parents. He then reviews how these actions plant tares (seeds) that bare bitter fruit in our lives and the lives of our children. The teaching closes with prayer for deliverance from the curses of disrespect for parents.

He discusses the diseases of the feet, teeth, head, neck, shoulders, eyes, ears, skin, blood, bone joints, and back. Deliverance prayer follows this teaching.

06LHCD7-2 – Jim Landry – SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
Mt 8:8, “Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof:” – true authority is based on humility. Vs. 9, “For I am a man under authority,” – under authority not in authority. No man can truly be in authority without being under authority. The degree of submission will effect the degree of your commission. We are to represent God’s authority. Many times we project issues that happened in our youth upon our spiritual leaders. An array of Scriptures are presented to drive home the point that authority comes from God. There are many church “hoppers” and leadership “choppers”. Often they cannot see God’s vision because of their own vision – Me, Myself & I. A true leader looks for authorities to submit to. Jesus was always submitted to the Father. Heb 13:17, “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” Every Christian needs to rightly divide the truth concerning spiritual authority. It is part of God’s provision to keep us from being deceived.

A compelling evangelistic message on submitting to authority. Terrorism is nothing new to the Christian. Throughout the Scriptures we read of instances where individuals and congregations tried to undermine authority. Several are found in Numbers 12, 14 and 33. We are living in a time of wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation. The enemy has been murdering and ransoming God’s people since the beginning of humanity. But Jesus has set the captives free. The natural and spiritual terrorist both, understand submitting to their authorities. What power the church will gain when they understand these principles. It is hard to understand Kingdom principles with a democratic mind set. Democracy is fine for nations of the world but we must remember that the Kingdom of God is what it is, “THE KINGDOM OF GOD”. Jesus is King! Jesus is Lord! Four essential elements of becoming a leader or potential leader to bear fruit for God must be in equal measures of authority, accountability, ability and responsibility. Mt 7:21-22 warns us that many ministries will themselves be operating out of the principle of satanic rebellion. Our real battle today is against terrorism in the spirit. But in Obadiah 17-21 we receive a prophetic message of the coming of deliverance ministry and the restoration of God’s church. You can hear the meaning of Mount Zion, Jacob’s fire, Joseph’s flame, and the house of Esau in this teaching. The Lord’s church will overcome the flesh and defeat the demon terrorism by His two witnesses; the Word and the Spirit. At the conclusion of this message, Jim leads the congregation through prayerful renunciation against principalities that have to do with leadership, rejected leadership, insubordination, independent attitude and other areas rooted in the area of rebellion to authority.

Jim Landry – THE SEDUCTIVE TRAP OF PASSIVITY & SLOTHFULNESS
This message addresses basic foundational tools that will assist the deliverance minister in effectively working with those who are in need of help. Jim exposes what he considers to be a major principality working through passivity in authority. One of the primary causes of demonic oppression gaining a foothold in spirit-filled believers is passivity. Jim speaks of the surrender of faculties doctrine and that through this deception, many believers have become demonized. He admonishes the ministry to beware of multi-level marketing within the church. There is even a trend that requires you to have your tithes automatically paid to the church through your bank account. The admonition to the ministry is to avoid the deception of passivity which subtly comes by “doing the work of the ministry”, i.e. counseling, praying deliverance, etc. Neglecting the fundamental requirements of discipline, i.e., fasting, Bible study, daily prayer and worship can slowly get a foothold and is justified because “I am doing the works of Jesus”.

Jim Landry – HOW SUFFERING AND ADVERSITY HELPS US GROW UP IN CHRIST
Patience and long-suffering are attributes of the nature of God. He uses experiences in our lives to develop those attributes in us. Jim testifies of personal adversities that God has used to teach him patience and long-suffering. To understand suffering and patience, you must experience it personally. In Num 12:5, Moses had an attitude of mercy. The proper attitude of a leader is mercy, meekness and graciousness. Jim describes long-suffering as being in pain, and patience as steadfastly bearing pain. Too many of God’s workers are bailing out when circumstances cause suffering to occur. Many are more committed to the church building than to Christ. Joseph never became bitter. He was blessed when men condemned him falsely. Do you wait patiently for God’s plan for your life? He suggests you let your own expectations dissolve and learn to wait on God. Impatience is a sin (James 1:3-4). The spirit of Jezebel does not agree with long-suffering. All authority is of God. Some do not understand love and rebuke. Jesus showed much long-suffering for a pattern. (1 Tim 1:16) He said to deny ourselves, take up our cross – daily – and follow Him. This message encourages you to be a cross bearer, not just a cross wearer! dependent attitude and other areas rooted in the area of rebellion to authority.

Jim states he believes God is going to raise up houses of Joseph provisions for the days ahead. We must live holy and be a good soldier. Selfishness and pride must be out of the way. What He has given us is not for us, but for the Kingdom. If you are not a soldier you will be commissioned shortly. God gives each believer a mark. The standard weapon is the Word. Some use weapons that encourage them for battle; fidelity, accountability, etc. in you from your mentor of authority. Mark 16:15 – preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 9:38-40. The enemy can recognize if you are in rebellion to the authority you are under. Luke 4:18, Matt 28:18. All believers are in it to win it. Trials, afflictions, dying daily bring strength for the battle. Soldiers do not concern themselves about worldly things. Too many people are not responsible soldiers. The fruit is produced from the root. All leadership should possess the basic principles that Jesus did. The Lord is soon to come; there is a great need to do what God tells you to do. The enemy wants to pick you off. Luke 10:1-17 – we should be like Jesus and His disciples. Eph 6:10 – be strong in the power of His might not ours. Lev 15:8, II Cor 10:3 – bring every thought to the obedience of Christ. Deliverance will be the most oppressed ministry in these end times. Heb 5:14 – a lot of good works out there will tempt you away from your purpose and calling in God. Acts 19:13 – the demons should recognize our name like they did Paul’s. Are you a good soldier for Jesus – John 7:14, 14:12 – do the same works that Jesus did. Jim says ask for help if you need it. He closes with deliverance prayers towards specific unclean spirits.

Robert and David Pennington, brothers 18 and 21 years old, assisted with the LHBC youth and children’s camp. They were given the opportunity to share personal advice to parents, and the Christian values their mother taught them, at the beginning of this teaching; a wonderful testimony for this generation of young people. Jim starts with some personal testimony. We all have issues and he says he is very pleased to be saved. You will not get very far without going low so God can promote you. He says he has seen restoration in the children after dealing only with the parents. Then Jim begins to teach on the unclean spirit; traits of uncleanliness; scrubbing endlessly, etc. Matt 10:1 is Jesus first command to His disciples; to cast out unclean spirits. Lev 15:1-2, 19, vs. 8. As a servant of God you have no right to judge yourself; that is why we need mentors. Luke 4:33 – A characteristic of an unclean spirit. An unclean spirit said let us so they are more than one. Mark 5:1- Supernatural strength. Jesus called it unclean. It said, we are legion, 2,000 to 6,000. They do not like to be alone. All can be delivered from them. Rom 12:3, Matt 12:43 shows the restless nature of this spirit. After one member has been delivered, it comes back and attacks the house of David, house of Landry (Jim’s house), our house, etc. This spirit likes dark places, tombs, it doesn’t sleep much, crying, hollering, no peace, many cut themselves, and some are suicidal. The person who has the spirit has self-hatred. Luke 4:34-35 They tend to communicate with the deliverance minister. When being delivered, they recognize the minister. Jesus is there to win the battle for you. We are soldiers for the Lord and we do not need to indulge in the things of the world. Rev 18:1-2 – Babylon is the worldly end time church. Jim closes with powerful deliverance prayers against unclean spirits. tormenters. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

We are called to God’s Army and He will supply our provisions. There are too many talkers and very few walkers in ministry. We must be able to accept and receive correction. We ought to be body builders for Jesus. There are too many loners, independents in this business. Jim begins with his testimony of starting in ministry. He has many mentors who will rain on his parade. Many in ministry today do not want relationships. We are working with the souls of men. We need help, and we need each other. He shares scriptures about the first disciples who were deliverance workers. Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1, Mark 3:13, 14, Luke 19:37, 38. Jesus is foremost among the first deliverance workers in the Bible. He is our mentor and example, preaching the Kingdom, supernatural healing, deliverance, etc. You must know Jesus to be an effective deliverance minister. If you can’t support another man’s ministry, you are not capable of starting your own. Mark 6:7, 12 they preached repentance. It is absolutely necessary to receive healing. We need to network together so Jesus will be glorified. You can be under authority, but yet have liberty. Many more principles are given. The test of leadership is discipleship. Be greatly used for He is great. Don’t limit yourselves. Jim closes with many renunciation prayers and mass deliverance prayers.

God give us ears to hear and eyes to see. We are in a war. He gives us enough victories to keep us going and enough losses to keep us depending on Him. If your expectation is low it could be there is a curse on your life. David expected to win over Goliath. The bear he fought represents the religious system and the lion represents the roar of pride. David had victory over these first. Ps 43:2 I expect God to be my protector. Jn 14:1, Ro 8:28 you must have faith and trust. Our provision must come from God and God alone. The curse of expectation affects believers, back sliders and unbelievers. Just because your mother had colon cancer doesn’t mean you should expect to have it. Fear robs you of faith. Job 3:25 fear is an open door for satanic activity, Gal 6:7, in our life. Is 48:22. People who have the curse of negative expectation learn to adjust their feelings; they gorge themselves with food, tobacco, sex, alcohol, etc. They are selfish and self centered. Many wrestle with lots of worry. Mt 6:25-34 Jesus spoke against worry and anxiety. Do we trust God? What are we expecting from God? Our expectation is to be in Him. Jim shares some personal examples of trusting God. The just live by faith and the unjust live by facts. The opposite of faith is fear. Jim shares many examples of expectations and asks the question: Is this faith or the curse of expectation? Satan and the demons are trying to get God’s people caught up in the world system in failure. Cast down strongholds and negative expectations. Do we trust the Lord? Jim closes with corporate prayers of mass deliverance from this spirit of the curse of expectation. Many were delivered and set free in this service.

Over 40 states have already legalized gambling. There are many types of gambling in the U.S. lottery, bingo, horse and dog racing, etc. Each time you gamble, the spirit gets stronger. There are Midianite spirits involved here the little foxes are a something for nothing spirit. Churches are becoming more and more open to this spirit. Gambling is a major cause of family neglect and is especially harmful in financially oppressed areas. Jim uses many scriptures. Thou shalt not covet – Ex 20:17. Mt 6:24 says no man can serve 2 masters. We must choose – God or money. Deliverance prayer follows.

The test of leadership is discipleship. Mk 16:17 – them that believe. God has given power to carry out His assignments. 2nd Sam. 22:1 – David loved and honored God. He had the attitude of a warrior and trusted God to deliver him from all his enemies. 1st Sam 17:38, David’s attitude was to annihilate his enemies. In vs 33, Saul questioned David and the enemy will question you. You must conquer the lions of pride and the bear of religion before you’re a soldier in this warfare. Learn how to deal with rebuke. God is looking for soldiers to war with Him. Jesus began the work of the kingdom and we are to finish it.

We know that binding and loosing are powerful tools in the hands of God’s people. In Mark 3 and Matthew 12, Jesus explained the principle of warfare that is still effective today – ways of removing all legal grounds. Sin and curses give rights to the enemy to oppress us. We must apply God’s word to the given situation. Eleven steps are listed to help us systematically do battle and render the enemy exposed and his power gone. Deliverance prayers follow.

If you aren’t absolutely sure you are clear with God, don’t pray deliverance. The enemy uses anything available to trip you up. Eph. 4:29 tells to not allow corrupt communication to come out of your mouth. We are to guard our mouth. Matt 5:22 – If we are angry with someone, we’re in danger of hell fire! Jim says that anger is a learned habit – a choice of the will. Our old man does not have to rule. We can choose to serve Jesus. Our old nature must be crucified – not cast out. Suppressed anger has been proven to be a source of much disease. Remember Moses? He smote the rock and was prevented from entering the promised land. Deliverance prayer concludes service.

We are disciples – so teach us, Lord. We’ve been called to tear down demonic strongholds. Love overcomes a lot of evil! Relationship comes before ministry. God protects His soldiers. Death in you is life in Christ. We are in this thing to win! 2 Sam says, HE teaches my hands to war. That was David’s attitude toward battle. We must pursue the enemy or he will pursue us. We’ve been given the necessary weapons in order to win but we have to use them. Deut. 8:1 Do, live, multiply and possess. However, it must start in us. God’s promise to Israel came with much abundance, but with many giants. We must love what God loves and hate what God hates. Face your giants. God will refine and purify us with His word. Then we are more able to help others to possess their land. Prayer follows.

We’ve all been drafted into God’s warfare. We must endeavor in the church and in the world not to get bitter. Jer 22 God is raising up a kingdom of disciples who understand kingdom principles. When we come under God’s alignment, we lose our opinion. If we do not hear, we’ll come into desolation. Vs 5 – We are called to be overcomers. God delegates the authority – it’s not our business. The attitude of real leadership is gracefulness when you come under attack. Num 1:12 Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses. Jim gives many scriptural examples of the result of mutiny against leadership and the results. He says the enemy can’t have the children when the family is in God’s order. Jesus chose the faithful to walk with Him. Service ends with a charge being issued to the people of God.

Jim Landry – HOW DEMONS OPERATE IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER
Jesus preached the kingdom. The 12 disciples preached the kingdom. The 70 preached the kingdom. Why not us? Jesus said that we would do what He did and greater if we were believers according to John 14:12. When Jesus ministered, demons came out and people got excited. His fame spread according to Mark 1:21-28. What excites you in your church? We know that most believe that Christians cannot have a demon but we learn in this session that while the enemy is limited, we can and do have demonic issues. Jim gives many scriptures to verify this teaching. We are body, soul and spirit and we see that the whole man is not always “saved” in the initial salvation experience. However Jesus made a way for us to be free. Let us follow on to know full redemption.

God is preparing you to go behind enemy lines. Voodoo came on the scene in the U.S. about 200 years ago – the religion of Cuba, Haiti, W. Africa, Orisha practices which is ancestor worship. Deut. 18:9 tells us not to learn to do after the abominations of other nations. Jim names and gives definitions of many occult practices. There are 8 kinds of voodoo. We also hear of occult practices that are paralleled in some Christian churches. God is not the author of confusion and He never tells us to worship in the flesh – drum dancing, etc. Jim gives much info and many scriptures. Deliverance prayer follows.

As chosen ones we are to take the fight to the enemy’s camp. Deliverance is a divine commandment and is essential to coming into kingship. The ranks are thinning. Gideon defeated an army of 1,000,000 with 300 troops – 1% of his original army. God chose soldiers who understood warfare. He who walks in a perfect way will serve Me. God chooses the faithful. Ask yourself, “Am I faithful?”

Many of God’s children want others to be free. The spirit of unforgiveness is a major demon concerning God’s people. God has promised mercy to the merciful. The measure you measure out to others will be measured out to you. Forgive or be turned over to the tormenters such as sickness and infirmity. Forgive and do it quickly. The church needs reform so pray for restoration. God says, Be ye perfect bless them that hate you. Jesus forgave us and we need to forgive each other or else a door opens for demons to come into our life. Hurt and offense that is not dealt with lets in bitterness. People get angry with God and wallow in self-pity. The biggest spirits in the last days are rebellion and bitterness. When we agree with God then we become blissful. If the offender is dead and the hurt is still in you, forgive them for your own good. If they are living ask God to bless them. Be honest with the Lord. Bind the strongman of unforgiveness and you will get free.

12DELTRCD-3 – Jim Landry – ROOT WORKER
In this teaching, the two types of common root workers were discussed. Voodoo Root Workers (primarily African, African American) and Hoodoo practiced by Caucasians, Latinos, and American Indian descendants. Root workers think they are doctors. Many deceived root workers are preachers. In our ministries, be careful we do not bring in stuff to help Jesus out. He does not need help. Jesus said beware of false prophets. You will know them by their fruits. You should be able to discern that. The American term for root workers is Hoodoo. We are given examples of cases in which root workers practice their hexes, vexes and spells. When ministering deliverance, the word of knowledge will reveal which scheme the enemy is using to prevent the preaching and receiving of the Word of God. These sins of charms, hypnotism and sorcery are against God and are an abomination to Him. Some of this is being done on the internet. Do not overlook the fact that a root worker can put a hex on children to be homosexual. Root worker witchcraft is being done by people from a variety of racial origins. Most of us have several types of blood in us white, black, Indian, etc. We are indeed a multi-racial society. We all share in the responsibility to root out the root worker in ourselves as we do spiritual warfare against those who are determined to be the enemies of God. 13LHCD5-3 – Jim Landry – I’M CALLED TO THE DELIVERANCE MINISTRY!
We must all walk in accordance to God’s word. We may have needs but we must be obedient and open also to exhortation and correction.  Even in the Old Testament, God commanded His people to do deliverance. Jer.22:3  It is part of His order – a divine command.  God is raising up a kingdom of priests with a fullness of servant hood and He did not give us an option. We are to be getting delivered and doing deliverance.  Notice that Jesus took the ones that were with Him and knew Him and sent them out to do as He was doing. Luke 16:15-18  There must be replacements for the deliverance ministers of the past and we are chosen for this time.  Someone needs our help and we have been assigned. We are called to be soldiers but we need to humble ourselves and begin to march to the command of our Superior.

Mass deliverance is so simple you might think it could not even work but it does. We have received curses from our own sins, from other people, and from our ancestors. We may not have had a very good start in life, but now we have a chance to break curses off ourselves so that our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren can have a better chance than we had. The first area we have to plow down and get rooted out is unforgiveness. We must forgive those who have hurt and disappointed us or we will be cut off from communication with God. This is how we take away the legal rights of the enemy. Also we need to be informed about the occult. Deuteronomy 18:9 mentions the abominations of witchcraft which the Lord hates with a holy hatred. We shall have no other gods before the Lord our God. No idolatry! Every contact with the occult carries a death penalty as well as curses for four generations. This teaching details many areas of occult involvement. Break those curses, destroy the enemy’s legal grounds, submit to deliverance and live the abundant life. Avoid becoming a false prophet! 1) Be submitted to your delegated spiritual authority. 2) Strong mentors speak into our life. 3) With the exception of an apostle, a minister should be sent forth by someone else. 4) Keep your priorities straight: God, family, ministry. 5) Abide in your own calling. 6) Be honest in all financial matters. 7) Be on guard against seductive spirits and avoid extended ministry alone. 8) Do not be overawed by the signs and wonders that accompany your ministry. 9) Keep your ministry Scriptural. 10) Jesus never sent out His evangelistic teams until they knew how to deal with demons. 11) Do not over-emphasize the Gifts of the Spirit at the expense of the Fruit of the Spirit. 12) Ministers should strive for balance in their teachings. 13) Mass deliverance is an effective and acceptable tool for casting out demons. 14) Ministers need to stay in fellowship with other deliverance ministers. 15) The office of the prophet must flow with the local fellowship. 16) Ministers are the favorite targets of the schemes of Satan. 17) Any private revelation should be able to stand the scrutiny of other ministers. 18) Avoid rapid advancement in ministry.
