14LHCD11-1 – Nickie Pinson – DELIVERANCE THROUGH CHASTISEMENT
Psalm 119:67 “Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I’ve kept your Word.” God knows what He is doing when He afflicts us. He brings deliverance through chastisement, out of His kindness and great love for us. Affliction allowed by the Lord is His chastisement and it will deliver us from the error of our way. The purpose of chastisement is to get us back on the straight and narrow path. We have become unprofitable and we are sinners. Until we become honest and confess our sins, evil spirits will never come out of us. So how long are we going to put up with our sins? It’s time to get something done here because it’s just going to get worse. We need to get violent about our deliverance. The wimpy do nothing more than complain and feel sorry for themselves. The longer we attempt to cover up our sins, gloss over them, or make light of them, the longer we will be afflicted. Church, chastening puts us into a position to partake of God’s holiness! When the Lord chooses to use chastisement as a means to bring us into holiness, the key is for us to reverence and be in subjection to Him. We need to have a broken and contrite spirit, humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and get free from bondage to sin.

14LHCD11-2 – Geri McGhee – THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A FOOL
The dictionary definition of a fool is: mad, a stupid one, destitute of reason or powers of understanding, an idiot, one who is deficient in intellect, a person who acts absurdly, one who does not exercise his reason, one who pursues a course contrary to the dictates of God’s wisdom. Scripture calls a fool a wicked or depraved person, one who acts contrary to God’s wisdom in morality, a buffoon, one who follows his own inclinations, one who prefers trifling and temporary pleasure to the service of God and eternal happiness. A weak Christian is a fool. A fool spends his time in idleness, and no matter how much a fool is instructed, he thinks he has a better way and needs no advice. The pestle of chastisement grinds and grinds but a fool never “gets it”. Adverse circumstances come and he always thinks the trials are the fault of somebody else, so the refining goes on in vain. Proverbs teaches us much about the sad life of the fool. A wise person is considered good, a sheep, wheat and is blessed, but a fool is considered evil, a goat, a tare, and is accursed. If this is speaking to you, ask God to teach you His ways and lead you out of the lifestyle of a fool. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD11-3 – Randy Richey – UNHOLY JUDGMENT
Three factors combine to form unholy judgment: 1) fault-finding, 2) accuser of the brethren, 3) the spirit of religion. The Holy Spirit’s gift of discernment can be counterfeited as unholy judgment. Stop judging or you will be judged by the standard with which you judge others. Instead, be blessed as a peacemaker, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you. We clearly see right from wrong, but how do we handle those situations? We are to do battle and not agree with the darkness. If we speak evil over people we are agreeing with the enemy. We are to be intercessors, stand in the gap for others and love them. Randy lists many synonyms to help us understand what it means to be a judgmental, fault-finding religious Pharisee. We have to guard against giving place to that self-seeking lust, because it invites a demonic spirit that specializes in inspiring a person to find fault with every one and every thing they encounter. That person becomes unteachable and dissatisfied and will never walk in the goodness of God without repentance and deliverance. Those who have this spirit must be stopped by prayer and godly counsel or they will spread havoc. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching..

Carla shares an astonishing story about what happened recently when she prayed with a woman for deliverance. She learned that when the time comes for us to stand against violent forces of evil, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and you are enough to defeat the darkness. Carla goes on to share how God is teaching her to deal with this fact: whenever we are tempted to sin, there is first a check in our spirit against it, then to do what we know we are not supposed to do, we have to harden our heart against God. We must quickly repent when we yield to temptation. The “grace message” coming into the church is leading many away from the truth of the Gospel and their hearts are turning to stone. The root word for stony means numbness … an inability to feel. It means to fortify and surround ones heart with a wall of stone to protect from wounds and hurts. A stony heart of unbelief makes you insensitive to the voice of God. Also, hardness of heart could come as a familiar spirit you inherited from your ancestors, from those who were not loyal to God. Break curses that have been passed down to you and your children and give those spirits leave so we can all enter into God’s rest. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD11-5 – Randy Richey – THE RELIGION OF FREEMASONRY
This teaching is not against Masons. They can be good, nice people who love their families. The purpose is to expose the anti-Christ religion of Freemasonry. 1) Freemasonry says Jesus Christ is not necessary for salvation, but simply by living a good and moral life you can go to Heaven. 2) It is gnostic in nature. 3) It claims you are saved by knowledge, and you can thereby attain higher levels of purity. 4) The sin of partiality favors fellow masons in business and the courts 5) Vows bring death if violated. 6) It is a hidden, fraternal order, a system of morality. Randy describes in great detail the demonic symbols and meanings of the craft whose roots go all the way back to Babylonian, Egyptian and Baal worship. Masonry mixes the Bible, idolatry, paganism, the occult, gnosticism, kabala, fertility cults, satanism, and spiritualism to come up with the Masonic religion. It is not of God, it is a harlot of Babylon and it is a lie. The truth is that Freemasons worship Lucifer. This deep and thorough teaching will prepare us to repent and receive our much needed deliverance from bondage to this false religion. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

This teaching begins with prayer for God’s help in this time of battle…we have not run from the fight but we do get weary. We want a true word from God; words that are applicable to our lives. We have need of every weapon that God has provided for us. 1 Corinthians 14:3 says that one who prophesies – exhorts, comforts and edifies Proverbs 15:23 says, A word spoken in due season, how good it is. One word from God can change everything. We’re talking about the God that spoke the world into existence! We may not always comprehend the meaning or the means, but if it’s from God, He will bring it to pass in His time. Scripture shows how God chose to bring healing, deliverance, instruction, correction, wisdom and restoration by means of prophecy. Examples from scripture are given. John 4:16 Jesus spoke a word to the Samaritan woman about her many husbands and she recognized Him as a prophet. In Acts 27, we see that Paul had a word of prophecy which was instruction for the safety of all that were on the ship that was about to be destroyed by a storm. We are given many other examples of how God used … and yes, still uses prophetic words today to bring needed answers to our questions.

In this time, we are desperate for true wisdom that comes from God, the truth that sets us free. Over and over in scripture, we see examples of the importance of wisdom. In Matthew 25: 1-13 is the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. We see that all of them took lamps and went out together but only five of them took extra oil, resulting in the need to go buy oil and when they came back, the door was already closed to the wedding feast. Matthew 7: 24-27 tells of the wise man who built his house on a rock as compared to the one that built on sand and was washed away. The importance of bringing forth good fruit is emphasized. It’s not enough to believe in Jesus…demons believe and tremble.. and we know where they’re headed… we must obey God’s Word. We don’t obey to get saved. We obey because we are saved. In John 15:1- 11 we see the result of the good fruit tree as compared to a bad fruit tree which is cut down and burned. Tares and wheat look alike but the time will come for them to be recognized for what they are. Many, many scriptures are given to show the necessity of obedience and the connection to wisdom. We choose whether to obey or to rebel and… Deliverance prayers conclude service.

14LHCD11-8 – Carla Butaud – KNOWING WHO YOU ARE
We, the body of Christ have not comprehended who we actually are. Know that the battles with evil that we fight are not with flesh and blood. We are wrestling in the spiritual realm. The day before you were born again, you had no absolutely no power. Ephesians 2:12 says that without Christ, we were aliens, strangers, having no hope and without God in this world. But now in Christ we were made near by His blood. The example was given of the president. Before he was sworn in, he had absolutely no power but after the swearing in, that all changed. So, we need to know who we are and the power and authority that is ours … not only for ourselves but to teach others. If we’re not aware of the position we hold, we’re not likely to do our job very well. Jesus gave His followers things to do. Would He tell us to do things that we’d not been given power to do? In Matthew 10:6-8 He gives clear instruction for His disciples. He’s instructing them about the kingdom of God. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Then He said you give what you have freely received. Does that mean that we can and should be doing the same? Examples from the word show us. Deliverance prayer follows.
