Jesus warned us…”Take heed that no man deceive you. Many will come and say they are anointed, but do not believe them. Demonic manifestations will imitate miracles. We will be hated of all nations for Jesus’ name’s sake. Many will be offended, false prophets (religious imposters) will arise and deceive even the elect with great signs and wonders, iniquity will abound, and the love of many will grow cold. He who endures until the end will be saved, but for the elect’s sake the days of terror will be shortened.” We must reject anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and His Word. In order to recognize a lie you have to know the Truth. If you know what is real, you will never settle for a counterfeit. If Jesus Christ is not central to a teaching, a church or a ministry, it is anti-Christ. When we partake of the Word we are actually partaking of Jesus Christ. Then we dwell in Him and He dwells in us. He that eateth this bread, the Word of God, shall live forever because the Bible is a supernatural, spiritual book, unlike any other. If you are in the Word regularly it will cause you to be able to discern truth from lies. A seducing spirit seeks to destroy a precious life. False reprobate prophets who have no conscience, frauds, will cunningly seduce believers by flattery, enticement, fair speech and appeals to the senses. That spirit of seduction will trap you so you have no way out. The enemy will also bring distractions into your life to change your focus away from the things of God. Be watchful, discreet, wary, vigilant, sober, and alert so you are not devoured and overcome by the schemes of satan. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

The prayer to begin this meeting is that God would enable the spirit so that the righteous might go free. Where the Spirit of God is present, there is liberty … liberty from walls of bondages, spirits of fear, etc. God calls us to purity. Mt 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” … be able and fit for relationship with Him … to comprehend Him in a deeper way. This is a word for God’s people. There are things to be done in our lives in conjunction with deliverance. It’s not all about getting something cast out. 2 Tim 2:19 gives instruction to those who name His name. We are to depart from iniquity. Next we are told to purge ourselves from youthful lusts. Sometimes we need to change our mind, choose to think on what we’ve been instructed to do. Vs 22 says to follow righteousness, faith, love and peace with others of pure spirit. Do not be distracted … focus, stay in step with Jesus. Like spirits locate each other .. good or evil. Don’t forget Adam in the garden. He hid from God because of disobedience. The object of our journey is to ‘see’ God, and when our heart is pure, we’re comfortable in His presence … free. There is prayer at the end for a heart to receive truth, to not be deceived by lying spirits, illusions, counterfeits, but see the truth of God’s word, that we would come into the peace and freedom that God’s presence brings. Geri teaches that we have demons because of sin, and we are sick because of sin. All of our problems are rooted in sin. Our problems are there because there is a lesson God wants to teach us. Submit unto the Lord, resist the devil and he will flee. When we seek God with our whole heart He will save, heal and deliver us…this is God’s promise to the overcomers. Every time we conquer a giant in our life we enter into God’s rest. In Matthew Chapter 11 Jesus says to take up His yoke and He will give us His rest. It is because of sin that we have, for example, stress, anxiety, frustration, anger, and sleepless nights. These problem areas are demonic strongholds. We can’t cast out a demon if we do not repent of the sin that gives it a legal right to be there. Without true and continued repentance, then after you receive the deliverance you fought for, the enemy will come back with seven of his friends and take over your “house”. When we submit to God, He will humble our pride and lead us to true repentance which prepares us for deliverance whereby we become sanctified. This is an ongoing, lifelong process. God is preparing us to do the works of Jesus in this day…heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils. We must not think of our own strength as our god. Our strength is in the Lord and in the power of His might to overcome our adversary the devil. If we violate our covenant with the Lord we become spiritual adulterers. Another way the enemy gets ground is when we yield to the sin of idolatry in all of it’s many forms. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD5-4 – Nickie Pinson – DELIVERANCE FROM HIDDEN SINS
Jesus exhorts us, “If you continue in My Word, then are you My disciples indeed.” That means to obey and live in the Word. You will not accomplish anything for God, you will not go anywhere with God, and you will never make Heaven if you are not an avid reader of the Word. The Word of God tells the truth about sin. Confess your sins. Do not make excuses for yourself and stop blaming someone else. Quit saying, “I can not help it. God understands.” Instead say, “What I am doing is wrong.” Continue to confess it and repent over it until victory comes. “Sin will take you farther than you intended to go, it will cost you more than you intended to pay, and it will keep you longer than you intended to stay.” You will not be blessed by God or used by God until you deal with your hidden sins. You might have lived with your sin so long it does not bother you anymore, but you can be sure, every secret sin will be brought to the light. God can see in the dark and behind closed doors. What are your hidden sins? Godly sorrow over hidden sin is required. Freedom and deliverance comes when our hidden sins are dealt with and we live a life of true repentance. Personal ministry follows this teaching.

14LHCD5-5 – Kyle Nees – THE PLACE OF REST AT HIS TABLE
Think of a time in your life when God saved you for a purpose, for his plan and vision for you…to see Jesus for who He is. We need God’s presence more and more…an increase in His Holy Spirit within us. He is calling us to the wedding feast. The spirit of God makes His Word alive. His purpose for our life is the feast He is preparing for us. What does it take to make us worthy to be invited to His feast and honorable in His sight? If we are on the guest list but for some reason we refuse to come to His feast, we are not worthy. Psalm 23 tells us there is a comfort Jesus wants to bring us to. The table he has prepared for us is the rest of God in the midst of all the mess, anguish, and confusion of our lives. He gives us His rest in the presence of our enemies. The table requires your presence in a way that you are not attentive to anything else. It needs to be important enough for you to be there. Instead, we want Jesus to come to our table and be part of our lives so we can have a good life. It is vitally important that we make it a priority that we make peace with Him and come to His table so goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Carla asked God, “How do you actually live by faith?” Once you get an understanding of this, your life will never be the same. “The just shall live by faith,” is used four times in the Bible. It’s His faith. We have been justified by Jesus Christ and we are to live by His faith. 1) Romans 4:13 Against hope believe in hope according to what is spoken in the Word. Do not live by sight or circumstances, but live by faith and not by sight. 2) II Corinthians 1:4 The areas in your life where God has comforted you are going to be the strongest areas where you are able to comfort others. Guard against negative words and opinions of other people because you can be thrown off balance. Consider it not. 3) Romans 4:20. “Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief.” Let your countenance reflect that God’s promise to you is already accomplished in your life. We have need of patience while we live in joy and hope. Keep being faithful because that glorifies God. Do not give up because you might be on the brink of receiving what you are believing for. 4) Romans 4:21 Be fully persuaded that what God has promised, He is able to perform. The giants in your land are the problem areas that loom in your life…areas where you feel hopeless, worthless, and you feel no good, like a loser. The giants in your land are your spiritual enemies. We have to overcome the giants of anger, bitterness, sexual perversion, pornography addictions, adulterous relationships, drug addiction, alcohol, depression, discouragement… Every time you conquer one of those areas you enter God’s rest in that area. What God has taught me to do is look up all the scriptures on that subject and then repent over all of them. Geri tells us how she gives herself to God and resists the devil and he flees. That is self deliverance. You get delivered as you line your life up with the Word of God. God says He sends His Word to heal you. There is always something God wants to teach you in everything you go through. Search the Word for what it says about health, finances and relationships. Unrest comes in through disobedience to the voice of God’s and His Commandments. Die to who you are so Jesus can be Who He is in you. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

Only God can open the heavens. The Father sent us His Son from heaven and He sent another Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Jesus had an open heaven throughout His ministry. Some said He did His works by the power of the evil one, and in saying that, they blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Heaven was open on the day of Pentecost and some mocked and made fun of what God was pouring out. How do you get an open heaven? In Matthew it says, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” That’s an open heaven. Do not trust anyone in ministry who operates without an open heaven. There is nothing of value that is going to happen in the Kingdom of God without the Holy Spirit doing it. In Joel, God told us He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh…that is an open heaven. John the Baptist prophesied the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He saw an open heaven when he saw the Holy Spirit come down and hover over Jesus. The heaven opens when we obey and pray and are in one accord. In this teaching Brother Pinson continues to help us understand what we must do get our open heaven, because without the Holy Spirit we have nothing of lasting value.

This is a word of encouragement for our prayer life. Jesus invites us into His life and it is only found in a place of prayer. The greatest deliverance to be had is in a place of prayer. It is a place of real power. It is a seat of rest and repose where we can contemplate and reflect on the goodness of the Lord. Prayer hastens the promises and changes the outcome of things because it is the place of an open heaven. A house of prayer is an open heaven where God makes promises to you and me…from God’s house to God’s face. Prayer changes the outcome of every situation. God searches to and fro throughout the earth seeking those whose hearts trust in Him. He is looking to show His arm strong in our behalf. Our life is made better with a stronger bond, and greater communion with Him. He wants soundness in our life with well balanced thinking, and that comes through a life of prayer. If we are not careful, we can get self-righteous by having much knowledge of truth without a life of prayer. Prayer connects the Word to our heart and makes it come alive. Prayer sets in motion and executes the promises of God. Express your heart to God, be thirsty for living waters, and do not give up. Trust the Lord.

Mathew 24:11 “Many false prophets shall arrive and shall deceive many. “Christ” means ‘the anointed one, the Messiah’. False christs and false prophets shall deceive the very elect. It means a false anointing…a spurious prophet, a religious imposter, who will deceive with great signs and wonders. Scripture tells us how the evil one is adorned with precious jewels. These days at some church meetings it is reported that jewels, feathers and gold dust appear out of nowhere. Wisdom is being profaned and the sanctuary is being defiled by demonic manifestations. Look at the signs and wonders that Jesus did. Matthew 10:7 And as you go preach saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils.” He multiplied loaves and fishes. He calmed the storms. Sometimes false prophets, satan’s ministers, are able to do signs and wonders in the name of Jesus because Jesus honors His name, but He wants nothing to do with those deceivers. Beware of false prophets who are wolves in sheep clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Read Revelation13:11 and find out how God deals with false prophets. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.

14LHCD5-11 – Geri McGhee – BARRIERS TO DELIVERANCE & HEALING
Exodus 23 tells us God will drive demons out of our “land” little by little lest we are overwhelmed. Not being born again is the number one hindrance to deliverance and healing. People believe in their head but they have not been transformed in their heart. They must be born again and transformed into a new creation. The church is full of religious Pharisees who do not deal with their sins. If what you say does not line up with the Word of God, you need deliverance. Heart issues need to change. Your tongue is a restless evil full of deadly poison, so take your thoughts captive. If you do not do that, you go backwards and that is one of the roots of Alzheimer’s disease. Not dealing with bitterness will work out in your body as physical illness. Secondly, unbelief and doubt hinder deliverance and healing. If you do not have a clear conscience you can not have confidence in God and you will not believe what His Word says about sin. Whatever your problem is, if it doesn’t go away no matter how much you pray and bind and cast out, search the scriptures to find our what to repent over. Find out what you need to die to. Break the generational curses and take accountability for their sins. Deliverance prayers follow this teaching.
