08LHCD9-1 – Carla Butaud – BOWELS
Carla begins with the definition of this word “bowels” that she heard from God a few months ago. It describes our organs; heart, liver, etc. Old Testament references begin with Gen 15:4-15 – Abram questioned God. We know God’s promises but many times we doubt. More references include Gen 25:23, Numbers 5:11-31. We are created to live in peace, harmony and balance; it brings health to our body. Pro 7:1-27 – a seducing spirit causes an arrow in the liver. I Kings 3:1-28 has to do with wisdom, a heart attitude. Hate evil and love justice. Use God’s wisdom or our body pays. II Chron 21:12, these scriptures all have to do with bowels or organs and the consequence of sin on them; not being faithful to God. Job 30:27 – bowels boil and rest not. Ps 22:1-31. Carla shares an example of a personal friend who died with colon cancer. She shares a personal experience when she was a teenager and the lesson her Daddy taught her concerning being lied about. He said if she knows it is not true and God knows it is not true to ignore the lies and the tormentors and they will cease. It worked for her then and it still works now. Let them curse but you bless. Lam 1:20 ? because of rebellion. Lam 2:11 – maybe eye trouble; grief, pride, and sorrow may affect the liver. Then Carla shares some New Testament references to “bowels”. Acts 1:15-20, I John 3:11-17 not just our actions but the intent of our hearts (Deut 15:6-10) and the last New Testament reference is Col 3:5-17. She says in closing forgive, have tender mercy. It is a discipline. We have to do what the Word of God says. Put off the old self and put on the new. Carla ends with prayer for all having trouble in the “bowels”, covering all the words she has given in this teaching that refer to “bowels”. Is there a physical manifestation of a spiritual problem in our bowels?

08LHCD9-1L – Carla Butaud – BEWARE OF DISTRACTIONS
When we get our eyes off the Master and on the storm, we are like Peter and begin to sink. Carla shares a spiritual dream that shows how distractions can sneak up and the enemy can devour us. When they come, it is to cause our faith to fail. It started with Adam and Eve. Matt 7:24 When the storm comes it is a distraction. If your peace is disturbed it is a big distraction. We all have some because this is the enemy’s plot toward us; to get us off guard, off balance. Go back to what was good; being in God’s presence, be sober, be vigilant, watch! Never look back, let go and look forward from today. Mark 9:14-17. The enemy will distract and cause unbelief for what God tells you to do. Carla shares her personal experience on how God started her in deliverance. Just do it! Fasting and prayer will deal with your unbelief. Rev 12:17. You are in a war; not with carnal weapons. Lord, teach us how to fight. Rev 13:7. Whatever is going on in your life now is the distraction. II Tim 3:13-17. Watch your mouth, guard your heart – do not cooperate with the enemy. He wants to destroy you. You will have an opportunity to use everything you (I Pet 5:7-9) have learned. I Pet 4:16-19. To save your soul, keep on with well-doing. The storm came to both houses. When the distraction comes, keep your soul in the things you have been taught. This is the way to fight. God gives us everything we need to be an overcomer. Eph 5:14-17. Awake thou that sleepeth, walk circumspectly. What is foremost in your realm of concern – distracting you?

08LHCD9-2 – Toby & Gisela Huyssen – WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Gisela, and her son, Toby, are missionaries to the Philippines, Asia and Germany. Toby gives testimonies of his father as a missionary willing to lay down his life for the Lord. He was a man who did what God told him to do. Hab 1:5; it’s about God. He explains how the Bethesda Home for unwed mothers was started in the Philippines and gives testimony where shame was replaced with Jesus. His father passed away in 1994. The family felt they needed to go on with the ministry their father had started in the Philippines. Toby shows a short footage about Germany. Three and a half years ago God called Gisela back to Germany to the town where she grew up as a child. Gisela gives testimony of how her family members from childhood, one by one, came to Jesus and a new ministry has started there. God changed Gisela and brought her out of her comfort zone. She tells of a vision she had. Gisela shares that we need to share what the Lord has done in our lives not just preach. Jesus wants our obedience to Him. Toby shares about the store front church right downtown in a small town in Germany. He says we must get out of the boat as Peter, who was actually walking on the Word of God, when he walked on the water. We make excuses instead of walking on the Word of God. He tells us I Tim 4:12 is a verse for everybody. Timothy’s excuse was because he was young. Don’t worry about your excuse, be an example in speech, life, love, faith and purity. One person can make a difference. It is not us but it is God. Toby says without the arm how could the hand reach; without the leg how could the foot go? We are to be in unity. He speaks of the Springs of Living Waters which is a children’s ministry built right beside the Bethesda Home. God does the work and it just spreads in the Philippines. Three hundred churches planted in three years through their team. They want to reach all the people in the Philippines for Jesus. They are now branching into Southeast Asia and Africa, Vietnam and South Korea. They are training 3,100 ministers to be ready to go. You cannot limit God – only blindly follow Him. Toby closes with a story of how one person who wanted to be used by Jesus becomes unified with many in the body of Christ.

Geri McGhee – THE CURSE OF THE BASTARD AND THE LAW OF JEALOUSY
Geri begins telling us the curse of incest and the bastard curse are two curses that go for 10 generations. She says when you break these curses you are to step up in your bloodline and take accountability for the curses coming down and break them over all your family now. God is no respecter of persons; He loves all. The righteous and the unrighteous both leave inheritances to their children. Geri breaks illegitimacy curses over those present. She tells us a soul tie is a link whether good or bad; then she breaks these bad soul ties of illegitimacy. Spiritual adultery is when our heart goes after anything other than Jesus. Our problems now are re-runs of the problems we had in childhood; we just have another chance to correct them now. Numbers 5:19 refers to physical adultery. In verse 27-29 we see the curse of the law of jealousy. Ezek 16:30-34 spiritual adultery is not like physical adultery. The physical harlot gets paid for what she does but a spiritual harlot pays her partner. When you make an idol of a person you are in spiritual adultery. The root to all our problems is violating the Word of God. Wherever you have an idol, you have a wound. Our greatest day will be to get in the Word and repent. After a man is fully trained he becomes like his teacher. Geri then gives us characteristics of a harlot. Some of the scripture references are Pro 7:10,23:27,22:14, Isa 1:21,23:16, Jer 2:20, Ezek 16:28, 30, Hosea 2:5, 5:3, Nahum 3:4, Pro 29:3, Job 24, Pro 2:16,5:20,5:3,7:5,6:32,9:13, Eccl 7:26, Pro 6:26, Hosea 4:10, 4:14, Micah 1:7, Rev 17:16, Isa 14:22, etc. There is a harlot church system out there in which there are members who want to live after the flesh. We must yield to God and what He wants in our life not what we want. Read I John 1:9. Geri closes with prayers of deliverance from curses mentioned in this teaching..

08LHCD9-3 – Cheryl Batts – THE CHANGE FROM WITHIN
Today is like no other day that God woke you up. It is a new day to be conformed as you promised God. He does not forget. There is seriousness in this hour as never before. The change from within is what we resist. We already told Him to do what He is trying to do. Change your ugly stuff into something that looks good – like Him. When you first get saved God’s supposed to change everything around you. God says “not so”, I will change you. You said “I will” and He is going to change you as long as you are here. The change within comes with a price. He has to keep you in the press until you can see what others already see. The fire is hot here. God is trying to do all He can to bring you into balance. The change is within us so we can be what He calls us to be in the Kingdom. Jesus changed the disciples and the world in three years. Rom 8:20. He is the change maker. Quit thinking it is your enemies, etc. Rom 12:2, Joel 12:15. Just when, after a victory, you think you (Ps 41:3) are perfect now, God says (Acts 20:32) we are going to work on (Rom 12:2) something else, forget it! He is not going to do it all in one day. It is a lifestyle. Don’t get (Rom 8:20-28) stuck on how things used to be. The change within will give you discernment on where God has people at. It’s all about the change maker living within us and changing us. Rom 8:21 Now we can go from kindergarten to first grade. Still some stuff the Deliverer wants to set us free from. Basically fear keeps us from change. Not trusting God to change us. It’s really about obedience to do what God calls us to do. Cheryl closes with prayer.

Ten days before this message was given, God gave Brother Oliver a word for the people at LHBC. (At that point he had not been invited to speak). The Lord gave him a question and then some probable answers with explanations. The question; How have we gotten where we have gotten now? He says the “Rabbi of redefinition” means there is no tolerance. The first probable answer is: 1. Could it be that the church compromised where the early church never would? Pray for more boldness to stand when under persecution. God is a consuming fire. 2. Could it be that the early church responded more quickly to the call of the Spirit? Acts 8:26 – Philip went. God wants us to be instant in season or out of season. 3. Could it be that the people of God thought that holiness and righteousness were not an option? Without holiness no man will see the Lord. 4. They loved and invested themselves more deeply in each other’s life than this time is capable of. They loved each other without reservations. There is no fellowship today; we need to get to know a brother in Christ. 5. Could it be that money was not a major concern to the early church? 6. Could it be that the early church hungered for the supernatural and weren’t satisfied with the ordinary? 7. The early church looked at the political arena and realized they were more powerful. They knew God’s Kingdom would rule. Luke 3:1-2 – the Word of God is still bypassing the rulers to ones in the back side of the wilderness. 8. The early church ministry was to God; just what pleased God. 9. Their level of expectation was attached to their prayer life; they were Spirit led. He closed with Ezek 44:12-15 which is the premise of what God showed him is happening. Sanctify yourself today because I am going to do marvelous things tomorrow. Zadok in Hebrew means righteous ones. God says agree with Me on these things and I will use you more than you have been used in your life.

08LHCD9-5 – Carla Butaud – WALKING ON PURPOSE
He that hath an ear let him hear … Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand – Demon spirits work in us but they can’t be crucified they must be cast out. Flesh cannot be cast out it must be crucified. There is nothing we can do to make ourselves pure, free or holy but after we are made pure, free and holy by the Lord it is up to us to stay that way. Pure means clean – not mixed with anything else. Carla shares other definitions of chaste, etc. She gives illustration with personal example. II Tim 2:19 means you have to depart from iniquity. God will convict you of iniquity which means unrighteous behavior. II Tim 2:21 – we have to purge, cleanse ourselves. Verse 22 – think about youthful lusts such as vanity and pride, whatever pleases the flesh, living apart from God. Gal 5:16, this is Carla’s prayer to teach her to walk totally in the Spirit and walk not in the flesh. She continues on in verse 19 and 20 explaining each of the deeds of the flesh in these verses. Being disloyal to God is committing adultery. Lev 18 – incest, homosexuality, bestiality, abortion; all bring curses on you. In Deut 28 you can find a lot of diseases know to man. Jer 2:19 – judge and convict. This is about having no fear of the Lord. The church has no fear of the Lord. Acts 5:1 is an example. Deut 18:9-11 tells about witchcraft. Rom 12:9-10 – putting someone else before yourself. John 2:19-23 taking eyes off of self. Mind your own business. All this boils down to a love issue because God is love. What kind of vessel are we; a vessel of honor or a vessel of dishonor? Ephesians 5:14-17 is a message to us today – walk on purpose. Who are we when no one else is around? Carla closes with I John 2:28 – 29:3 and prayer to let us live lives of repentance to be vessels of honor fit for you Lord.

Geri starts with a deliverance prayer binding every demonic spirit from this meeting. You cannot have salvation unless Jesus is Lord. Salvation is a walk of continually putting to death the flesh. Gal 5:16 – Choose God’s way over your way. Sin is sin. Be a vessel of honor to God. Repent! The Word of God is what transforms you. The lamp of the body is the eyes. Being lukewarm and not in God’s Word is sin. Ezek 44. When you yield to Jesus His Glory comes all over you. No man can give it to you. Geri leads in a prayer for being born again. Several forms of false worship are described. Church wake up, get in the Word of God. Matt 6:21:2. The entrance of God’s Word brings light. You can have God’s Glory only by crucifying your flesh; so are we changed from glory to glory. Matt 5:14-16. If sin is in your life, your light is dim. The more you repent the more light (Pro 13:9) in your life. Scriptures: Job 18:5-6, Ps 19:105, Pro 6:23, 24:1, 20:27, Pro 21:4. Our answers are in God?s Word. Luke 11:36, Matt 7:1, Matt 25:1-3, John 2:23-24. You don’t obey to be saved; you obey because (Matt 25:1-12) you are saved. Matt 7:15, Ps 41:11, Matt 7:17-27. All you have to do is say “here I am”. Let the Potter mold the clay. Stay on the highway of holiness. Ezek 44. God separates between the holy and profane. Romans 8:13. Geri closes with deliverance prayers.

08LHCD9-7 – Steve Coyle – WORSHIP – THE ALTAR OF INCENSE
This study is taken from Ex 30:1-10 concerning the altar of incense. The altar of incense by having 2 rings only, would swing when being carried. As the priest burned incense morning and evening, he worships as fragrance (Luke 1:5) permeating the whole area. The priest, Zacharias, stood and worshipped and received a breakthrough. God may ask you to do something and you may have to wait 9 months, more or less for your answer. He then shares the ingredients of the incense and how they pertain to worship. 1. Stacte – from a myrrh tree (purest kind), it eases pain, you cut the branch and the sap pours out immediately. This is for worship that comes instantly. 2. Onycha – comes from external crust of a shellfish from deep in Mediterranean and Red Sea. It enhances the other ingredients of incense to come together and work together. It is used in medications and perfume. This is intercession and the intercessor in worship. 3. Galbanum – a gum resin that comes from roots and the lower trunk of wild plants. It does not smell good. It stinks! It is very valuable and one of the oldest forms of medicine. It is uniquely used to repel snakes and reptiles. Mixed with oil it will kill snakes. Pertaining to worship, the smell is in regard to the stink in our life that needs to go such as any addiction, anger, fear, rejection, depression, etc. And secondly when it is mixed with the other ingredients and burned it smells good. So when we receive deliverance to get rid of the stink as it is burned we become pure and smell good. 4. Frankincense – is gum resin from a tree. When the sun goes down the tree is cut and the sap does not come out until hours later in the night. It is edible and good for digestion, healthy skin and relieves depression, anxiety, etc. In relationship to worship it is like what takes place in the middle of the night with us sometimes; a time of worship and praise and a good time for intimacy. Altogether these ingredients become a blend of worship. 5. Salt – added as a way of seasoning and blending in. Mal 1:11 – even among non-Hebrew nations His name is great and everywhere incense will be going up. Ps 141:2 – may my prayers be counted as incense towards You. Rev 8:3, 4 – visible sensation of what is going up. Steve uses a visible illustration of crushing and burning incense. We must submit to a crushing and breaking process to be pleasing to God as the incense is crushed first; whole the ingredients will not work. Praise builds the house and worship is when God moves in. This teaching ends with those present placing the incense in the replica of the altar of incense which burns, and the house is filled with worship.

08LHCD9-8 – Clement Humbard – THE NAME AND THE GLORY
Clement begins with John 16:12-13 – there is a progressive revelation of the Lord to the human mind, soul and spirit. The primary revelation of God to a human being is who God is in His divine glory. Believe God for everything. That is our trouble, we cannot believe God completely. The text of this teaching is John 17. Your life should be pursuit after God every day. The revelation of God is always progressive – first who He is and then what He does. Realize who you are in Christ so the progressive revelation is more and more and more. Clement says John 17 is truly the Lord’s prayer. He tells us we should learn to look up when we pray. If God’s Spirit is speaking to us it is immediate. We need to be a minute man or a minute woman. We sorrow like those with no hope. You can’t give someone something that you don’t have. Prepare the way of the Lord and walk close to Jesus. Gal 1:15-17 Paul tells why God called him. John 17:4-5 Jesus is praying to God. Clement says the word “skin” in Hebrew is the same as light. Adam and Eve were clothed with the Shekinah Glory. Verse 6 – the mission of Jesus is to reveal the Name to men. Where God comes down is where His name is recorded. You will begin to see the truth of the “I AM” revelation. If you don’t confess it you’ll never be it. Learn how to use the name “I AM”. Ps 104:9 I AM prayer. It pleases God for His little children to become like Him. Eph 2:19 you are of God’s household. There is a Gospel of Glory, Father of Glory, etc. I Peter 2:4, 5 ?. you are a spiritual house. Eph says 4 times we are the praise of His Glory; according to His time, His place and His order. God is not through with this world yet, we are to be metamorphisized into likeness of Jesus. Heb 12:1, II Cor 3:18. Clement closes with prayer.

Genesis 3:7- this thing between men and women started right here. Anger has caused a lot of prejudice between men and women. When you get rid of the competition by forgiving the Adam anger and Eve anger, the man can be who he needs to be, the woman can be who she needs to be and they can be who they need to be together. She says call forth the godly man of your husband every day. We as women have lost our position as women and who has it hurt? Us! Women have had so much anger at men; we have caused them not to treat us like women. She says let God save your husband because you cannot. Carla shares many personal experiences and examples throughout this teaching. The Adam anger spirit and Eve anger spirit play a big part in our lives today. Submit unto your husband as unto the Lord. Pray and ask God before you ask of anyone else then be submissive to His answer. God is bringing up things to enlarge our arena for deliverance. She closes with prayers of deliverance to break Adam anger & Eve anger.

08LHCD9-10 – Steve Coyle – PRIESTHOOD OF THE BELIEVERS
Mal 2:1-4, 7-8. About 1,000 years from the start of the priesthood at this time it is corrupted. Ex 19:4-6 a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, God says to the Hebrews at Sinai. The tribe of Levi stood with Moses to serve God. They tended to the worship of God; offered up the people’s offerings, etc. The High Priest, on the Day of Atonement, entered the Holy of Holies and took blood so sin was forgiven for the nation. In the New Testament the high priest is Jesus, the priests are the believers. In the Old Testament their role was intercession. The people were dependent on the priests; in the New Testament this all changes. Heb 9:11-12 – Jesus, the sacrifice of His blood on the mercy seat for us. Vs. 24-28. Heb 7:24-25 – intercession is the key role of the High Priest and Priests. The word intercession in Greek is entungchnein. The primary meaning is to meet with a person to converse with him. The secondary meaning is to address someone in behalf of another person. Jesus as our high priest will first talk to us and He makes the appeal. I Pet 2:5, 9, Rev 1:5, 6, 5:9-10. He explains what we do as priests. The role of a priest is not an office it is a function, it is servanthood. We offer up not physical (lambs) sacrifices but spiritual sacrifices. Most important area is worship; it is preeminent. Worship is about intimacy between you and the Lord. It comes from your spirit. Second role of spiritual sacrifice is to receive confessions; show people they have a direct access to God?s presence. The third role is involved in spiritual warfare; you have spiritual authority and weapons. The priest led in a spiritual battle around Jericho until the walls came down. Luke 10:19, II Cor 10:4. Are you doing these things? It is time for you to be who you are. That is who you are – the anointing is there. Ex 29:19-20 – ordination of the priests. As believers we are all priests. Steve closes by anointing with oil, those who desired, into the priesthood.

08LHCD9-11 – Tom Stone – BITTERNESS
God will sustain you but you will have tests. Tom gives us a prelude scripture to the message, using Pro 13:3 and asks the question “How many want to live?” Pro 18:21 We can fall into unwanted situations real quick. Tom shares some personal experiences. If a spirit of bitterness stands there it will manifest and grow. Matt 12:36 Sometimes we have a Pandora’s Box and we gather up all the words and they go into our hearts. If we keep these words they will cause bitterness. John 20:23 – we need to walk in this Word. Tom asks everyone present to repeat corporately, “I Choose To Remit Your Sins!” The key is the Holy Spirit speaking the word to you. And He will give you the right key at the right time. Matt 6:9-15 Forgive and He will also forgive you. Forgiveness has power and protection. Who wants to walk in the kingdom of God? Forgive. Don’t forgive and walk in the kingdom of flesh. Matt 7:1 when does judgment come? When you refuse to forgive. Pro 7:21-23 is talking about hepatitis from sexual sins. I John 3:14, 15 – beware folks, of hating anybody. It is the act of murder. The spirit of bitterness is serious. The gall of bitterness sets up and will eat you alive. Tom closes with prayers of deliverance over all present.
