98LHCD11-1 – Donny Morris – THE BRIDE IS THE CITY
The Book of Hebrews declares that Abraham “looked for a city – whose builder and maker is God.” The bride (the church) is that city. What he looked forward to we have had for 2000 years. The fullness of what we have in Christ is available now. The Kingdom has already come. Religion would put much of the fulfillment of kingdom prophecy into the future with the result that many are so busy looking ahead they miss what they have now! Examples: the four living creatures of Ezekiel and Revelation are a revelation of Jesus as depicted in the four gospels; the cup of the new covenant of Jesus’ blood was drunk new in His Father’s kingdom then, after the resurrection of Jesus. The marriage supper of the Lamb is going on now! This message is an encouragement to live to the fullest what we already have in Christ.

98LHCD11-2 – James & Murlene Golden – GLORYING IN TRIBULATION
Sis. Murlene opens by giving testimony to God’s gracious provision during times of tribulation in their lives, telling us the story of how the rats provided twenty dollar bills (unchewed!) and how God miraculously healed their son of paralysis after a terrible automobile accident. Bro. James goes on to exhort us to rejoice in times of trial because it is through tribulation that we may experience the resurrection power of God, and see the strengthening and expansion of the church. “Don’t get down and boohoo; get up and boogey!”

Sis. Mildred encourages us to be “doers of the Word, not hearers only!” After using many Scriptures to lay the foundation of our position of authority in Christ, she exhorts us to use that authority to bind satanic words (typified in Revelation by frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet). We are to use God’s Word, “speaking it until it’s done,” following through until the enemy is defeated in us.

98LHCD11-4 – Tommy Cook – THE RESURRECTION (1 of 2)
In this two-part message on the resurrection of the saints, Tommy lays the scriptural foundation for the two steps of the resurrection: inward and outward, spiritual and physical. Part 1 deals primarily with the inward resurrection, the one Paul refers to in Phil. 3:11 as the “prize of the high calling” that must be “attained” by “pressing toward the mark.” This is for the “generals”, not the “privates.” It is the fullness of God manifested while in the flesh, typified in Revelation by the “manchild” and the 144,000 sealed overcomers on Mt. Zion, among others. This is one of the most thorough expositions of this subject yet delivered here at Lake Hamilton.

Part 2 of this teaching deals with the resurrection that is to occur at the second coming of Christ whereby our physical bodies will be transformed into the likeness of His glorious body. As in all of Bro. Tommy’s teachings, many Scriptures are used to establish the framework for a solid, biblical exposition of the topic. Particularly interesting are the parallels he draws between the life and experience of Jesus with the “two witnesses” of Revelation: natural life, supernatural ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension.

No one pours new wine into old wineskins (Matt. 9:17); rather, new wine is poured into new (or renewed) wineskins. Bro. Robert defines seven steps used to renew wineskins that he parallels to the renewal that we must experience in our spirits. This process enables us to contain the new wine that is flowing in the body of Christ today. During the worship time before the message, the Spirit of the Lord descended on the congregation and we received a touch of that “new wine”. Many were healed and renewed by the sweet, gentle moving of the Spirit. Part of that portion of the service is included on the tape following the message.
