*Each of these gave a short introduction on what they would be teaching during the camp. **God doesn’t want us to be robots, but rather sons – people who can make decisions, tested in all areas, and overcomers. God gives us a commission and lets us proceed (and learn). There is great authority upon the sons of God. God is lifting us to a new dimension that can’t be counterfeited.

Christianity, in its reaction against secular psychiatry, has thrown out a number of useful tools and concepts, which can be used to understand how our families break down and help those who are caught in those patterns of thought and behavior. Drawing from personal experience, professional training, and spiritual strength and insight, the Lewises provide an overview of some common traits of dysfunctional families and minister to the congregation in those areas. This teaching is continued on 92LHCD9-9A & 9B.

Leprosy is a virus that strangles the nerve endings and robs its victims of their ability to feel. Even after salvation spiritual leprosy – bitterness, unforgiveness, callousness – can rob us of our ability to feel the hurts of others, to touch those around us, and to receive a fresh touch from God. It attacks us in our marriages and families, and in our churches. The leper said to Jesus, “If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” Jesus was willing to heal him, and He is willing to heal us. Prayers for married couples in attendance, followed by prayers for those whose spouses were not present and singles conclude the service.

Isaiah 18 tells us who America is. If we follow II Chron. 7:14, God will hear our prayers. Stand, take authority in Jesus’ Name, and declare that Jesus is Lord! This message includes prayers to break curses – including the curse of abortion. **For hundreds of years God has been looking for a man, a many-membered man company, the sons of God. (These can be male or female.) Is. 11:1. The time will come when the manifested sons of God will bring forth a ministry of judgement. When judgment is in the land, then men learn righteousness. When we can bypass sight and hearing, then we can learn righteous judgment.

*People, especially young people, have lost the fear of the Lord. They have been living with no restraints. We know God’s acts, but not his ways. We don’t know how to hear from God because we do not read His Word or talk to Him. We must learn to distinguish between the holy and the profane and we must teach our children to do the same. A powerful teaching for parents, grandparents, or anyone who works with children and teens. **God is looking for reformers. Without reformation, there will be no revival. Hezekiah did what was right in the sight of the Lord and his reforms provide a pattern for us of what is necessary before God can pour out His Spirit in another great revival.

SOME TRADITIONS AND CURSES – A tradition may be defined as a practice or belief handed down from generation to generation. Unfortunately, even in churches many traditions have no basis in the Scriptures, or directly contradict them! This teaching will challenge you to search the Scriptures to see if these things be so. One of these traditions is that the curses of the Old Testament do not apply to Christians today. God does not change! If He hated an action badly enough to place a curse on it then, He still hates it! Jesus, by His death, made a way for us to escape the curses, but we must appropriate that provision, just as we appropriate salvation. Deliverance prayers are included on these messages.

A woman can never take the man’s position assigned to him by God. This is a teaching for men to learn first to be the priest of the home, then prophet, then king. The teaching on these messages shows that this is not the case. Much encouragement can be gained from the Lewis’ ministry to persevere in seeking healing for these damaged relationships.
