In many instances, our relationship to our heavenly Father reflects the type of association we had with our earthly father. Deep-rooted attitudes such as fear and rejection from fathers hinder or interfere with communion with the Father. We need to get serious about the kingdom of God. Desire to know God’s purpose and plan for His people in eternity. If our destiny is to possess the kingdom then we need to be established in the Word of the Lord. We are called to be overcomers, to walk in holiness, and be dependable and faithful to what the Lord has called us to.

A big stronghold in many lives is in the area of control. Either we are controlling others or perhaps we are being controlled. We are controlled or control others through words, actions, superiority, thoughts, etc. We operate in controlling ways because of deep hurts, bitterness, envy, desire for anointing, and pride.
